Open Positions

Community Sport Coaches and Leaders (Baseball, Soccer, Volleyball)

Work with neighorhood leaders and residents to develop community-based sport opportunities primarily in South and West Baltimore. Neighborhood-based sports increase access by reducing the barriers of travel and cost. Teams play in leagues with nearby neighborhoods. This is a unique opportunity to help build a sport program the will serve the community for years to come.

This position is for individuals who are committed to increasing access to sport and teaching the game with excellence to youth of all ability levels and invested in building youth and building community.

Time commitment:

  • Candidates should be available for the majority of activities.
  • 1-2 two evenings per week and a game on Saturdays.

Responsibilities depending on role:

  • Coach sport activities
  • Participate in training and planning meetings
  • Create training session plans
  • Manage assistant coaches
  • Regular communication with families about activities and schedules
  • Manage website and registration platform
  • Build relationships with school and community leaders
  • Assist with data collection and reporting
  • Regular communication leadership and partner programs

Compensation:

Stipend or hourly TBD depending on the role and commitment level.

Case Manager – Workforce Development

Position Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Case Manager to support job seekers in overcoming barriers to employment and achieving financial independence. This role combines direct client support with community engagement to create lasting positive change in Baltimore neighborhoods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized case management support to program participants, addressing challenges related to employment, housing stability, and financial security
  • Facilitate job readiness workshops and financial literacy training for youth and adults- Coordinate with local employers, service providers, and community partners to expand job opportunities
  • Manage client documentation, benefits access, and program compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with program staff to evaluate participant progress and refine service delivery
  • Support youth employment initiatives, including after-school programs and summer YouthWorks

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in case management, social services, workforce development, or related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with diverse populations
  • Experience facilitating groups and delivering training
  • Flexibility to work some evenings/weekends as needed
  • Commitment to community-driven social change

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related field, or relevant professional experience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency
  • Familiarity with Baltimore communities and resources
